PART 7

"Unfortunately, one of our candidates decided to quit, leaving us with four contestants. Here are the rules: the buyers will ride their purchase through the obstacle course. The buyers are blinded and muted and have to rely on their steed's feedback to not fall off - which would immediately disqualify them. The candidates, meanwhile, are fitted with a special bridle that will allow the riders to exchange their ability to breathe for their ability to see; but, of course, they will need to be careful to not suffocate their ride!"

The candidates and buyers were led onto the stage by handlers. Adrian stared. Manga and the other three had had changes of costume; their dog tails had been replaced by pony tails, saddles were strapped to their backs, and the dog paw mitts had been replaced with hooves. They were each wearing a gag he'd seen for sale at the Rope & Bunny but could neither afford nor did he dare to use it on anyone.

A ring gag held the mouth open. Mounted below it was a curved plug that could, via a complex mechanism, be pushed into the wearer's mouth as deeply as desired. Reins were attached to it.

"Allow me to demonstrate."

The announcer walked up to one of the candidates, stood behind him, and slowly pulled the reins. The plug entered his mouth, briefly causing him to gag. It slowly went in further.

"At this point, the candidate's view screen has turned on and he can see his surroundings, so he can safely carry his rider through the obstacle course. But, with nose and mouth plugged, he cannot breathe."

The announcer released the reins, and the plug slid out. "And now he can breathe, but is blind."

Adrian had to marvel at the cruel ingenuity of the setup. This would be a true test for them all.

"Each pair has ten minutes to traverse the course. Falling off, steed collapse, or the riders removing their restrictions will result in a disqualification."

The candidates and riders were sequestered into stables while the audience was invited to take up positions along the obstacle course.

The first pair went for slow and steady. The rider kept an impressive rhythm of pulling and releasing the reins. The crowd, silent at first, started to cheer the pair on, rhythmically clapping as they neared the finish line. The very last obstacle required the buyer to duck in order to not be dismounted, and he managed to interpret his steed's sudden halt and noises correctly. With about half a minute to go, they passed the finish line to thunderous applause.

The second candidate did well initially, cheered on by the crowd, until his handler lost his nerves and tried to speed him up, pushing the plug all the way down his throat. He tried to continue, but the rider ignored his frantic noises, and he had to buck him off. He had to be physically restrained from trying to find and trample the idiot who had cost him his candidacy, blinded or no; eventually, he was calmed down and led away.

Next up was Manga, who did as well as the first candidate, his rider opting for longer phases of sight vs. recovery. At the very end, he did not understand why his horse stopped, so Manga moved forward slightly, bonking the buyer's head against the treacherous beam. That got them through to the end with about a minute to spare; the rider pulled the reins hard in celebration, causing Manga to buck, before releasing him. Reaching out blindly, he patted his steed's head before they were moved back into the stables.

The fourth pair were off to a shaky start, falling way behind the others. Someone in the audience started a cheer - "you can do it!" followed by a pattern of six claps - which seemed to get them back on track. And, indeed, they made a marvelous recovery and picked up the pace. This visibly exhausted the horse, but he managed to make it all the way to the end just before the timer ran out; his rider had banged his head on the beam but miraculously leaned back, making it through without falling off. Raucous cheering and applause followed.

"Congratulations to our three successful applicants! Up next for them is the walk to induction. The audience will please remain until they have departed."

Adrian groaned inwardly. How would he ever catch up with his friend?

I cant possibly think of anything to type, I'm totally breathless.

Such a unique way of getting the best of these subs! And just like in regular BDSM play, it's rewarding for both sides when a dom understands what his sub wants even with the gag barrier.

I've seen fantasy designs for such gags (but not the view-screens) but have always assumed that they are just that: fantasies. Unless you know different.

Quite entertaining that the rider was not allowed to see and had to rely on the pony with their limited sight. See or be gagged to the point of not breathing......

Manga should be proud him and his rider made it through the course. But what lies ahead? And poor Adrian, trying to catch up to his friend. While I'm sure this definitely not what he had in mind, I'm sure in the end, it'll be worth it!

This is a real thing (minus the view screen).

It took me a while to come up with the third challenge so I'm glad it has this positive resonance.

Having had his blindfold removed, the buyer pulled the tape from his lips and put the voice modulator back on. He took the proffered menu from the handler, examining it closely.

He was excited for the options; he'd have some more fun with his purchase before dropping him off at the fraternity's headquarters for the final ritual... and then he'd have him for the full weekend.

"Definitely this..." He checked one of the boxes. "And of course..."

Manga was on the ground next to him on hands and knees, waiting patiently. The nose plugs had been removed, but the hood and gag remained while the buyer cryptically made his selections.

When he was finally done, Manga was led away to be prepared as desired.

"Remember: the collar stays on, the gag stays on, the pants stay on. The rest is up to you - within the stated rules."

The buyer nodded and continued to wait impatiently.

Finally, Manga was returned to the room.

He had been peeled out of the rubber suit, the hood removed, and his body oiled to a glorious sheen. He was wearing rubber pants with protective material covering the groin; they were locked on with a chain to which his handcuffs were attached, allowing him only a little movement - just enough for what the buyer had planned. From them, a chain led to a rigid spreader bar connecting his ankles, which would ensure an awkward shuffle. His mouth was taped shut with immaculate precision; there would be a large sponge beneath, one of the parameters that were immutable. A soft blindfold covered his eyes.

The buyer was relieved he had correctly deduced the identity of his purchase even with all the measures intended to prevent it. If he'd ended up with a different candidate, he'd... well, he'd still have been able to have fun, but it wouldn't have been as special.

He took the leash and pulled gently. His purchase commenced walking after him clumsily; he made sure to take it slowly. Just a little more before he sprang his surprise on Manga.

The noise and sudden warmth told Manga that he was now outside, being paraded around for everyone to see - a conundrum that excited him as much as it mortified him. He had strictly forbidden his roommate from publically humiliating him, and now here he was, helpless in the hands of a stranger, not even able to see. Once again he was thankful for the clothing article concealing his erection, even as he was otherwise wearing only shoes and socks.

Soon, he felt the ground under his feet change; it was now softer, and he concluded he had been led to the park.

His buyer stopped, and so did he.

"Take off your shoes and socks." The voice was still electronically altered.

Even with the blindfold on, his confusion must've been obvious, because the command was repeated.

He clumsily tried to get into a position where he could reach his shoelaces, eventually having to settle for basically bending in half. He had some additional difficulty peeling the socks out from under the spreader bar's cuffs. When he'd finally gotten them off, his buyer simply pulled on the leash again, forcing him to follow. He thought of protesting, but the rule that had been impressed on him had been complete obedience.

A short time later, they stopped again, Manga's feet now dirty from the earth. The buyer pushed him to his knees - then finally removed the blindfold.

Manga looked up into a widely grinning, very familiar face as his eyes widened. The buyer's teeth shone brilliantly in contrast to his wenge-dark skin.

"Surprise!"

So far because their identity isn't fully confirmed, other then being someone Manga is familiar with, my suspicion hasn't changed yet. Actually you may have further cemented in who it is since they took "all the measures intended to prevent it' in picking the candidate they wanted! But I also know your writing. While I don't suspect you would intentionally derail my suspicion(s), I will always expect the unexpected with all the twists you have a habit of throwing out there

I have fully gotten all caught up and I’m in love with this stories. Being blind and walked around on leash is so hot. I loved the obstacle course and the different challenges! I’m excited for the next chapter!

Your interest, and some free time, has allowed me to complete this story today, while the chapters so far have been tough going. 6 more parts to go, and as a special thank you, I'll un-cliffhang you all later today.

I love the way the obstacle course encouraged teamwork between pony and rider - a great way to find out if they were in sync with each other.

I always feel if you're going to be exposed in public it's probably best to be blindfolded so you don't really know what's going on and who is witness to your humiliation.

Now time to find out who's hand is on the leash...

Manga's voice, even muffled by the gag, was uncharacteristically high as he tried to vocalize his buyer's name.

Ato's grin widened further - a joyful, not a sadistic grin, pure delight at the reaction to his surprise.

"That's right, mon gars" - an injoke between the two friends, playing on Manga's name. "And it's not just me, you know I can't afford 500 bucks for you."

Two more dark-skinned men emerged from behind two trees.

"Abed and Bos were generous enough to help out and will also be enjoying your services both right now and over the weekend."

"In fact, time to get started. You're already down there, so how about you take off our shoes and socks as well?"

They didn't make it that easy, of course. Ato wrapped the blindfold over his eyes again, and he had to navigate by voice, staying on his knees; the chain connected to the handcuffs wasn't long enough to allow him his earlier dog walk. There was much laughter as they repositioned themselves, forcing him to dirty himself all over as he sought to fulfil his task; the oil on his skin was like a dirt magnet.

Eventually, they showed some mercy and allowed him to slowly and clumsily untie their shoelaces and take off their shoes and socks.

He was still working on the third set when he heard a familiar voice.

Adrian emerged from the trees to see Manga crawling blindly on the floor, covered in dirt, his hands on the shoe of one of three black students. He recognized one of them - Ato, Manga's best friend - but not the others.

"What are you doing with him?"

Ato turned to him, surprised at first, but then a grin spread across his face.

"White boy! What are you doing here?"

That stopped Adrian short. What was he doing there? Ato had clearly been the high bidder on Manga, and could do what he wanted - within reason.

"Why are three of you torturing him? I don't think that's in the rules!"

A bluff - he knew nothing about the rules - but he had to try. He did not notice Manga shaking his head, trying to dissuade him.

Ato's grin grew. "I don't know what you're talking about, white boy. In fact, isn't it against the rules for a non-member to sneak into the auction and try to bid on a candidate?"

Adrian had no reply.

"I have to thank you, in a way. Mr. A here" - Ato indicated one of the men - "noticed you. Mr. B followed you, and informed me who you were bidding on. That helped me figure out which of them was the right one."

Adrian was struck by this. He looked down at the ground, trying to collect his thoughts. How should he proceed?

He felt his arms being grabbed, and yelped involuntarily. While he had been distracted, Ato's friends had closed the distance to him and were restraining him.

"Let me-" was as far as he got before a hand clamped over his mouth.

Ato extracted a gigantic roll of tape from his backpack and threw it to his friend. One of them caught it and forced Adrian's hands together behind his back while the other held his mouth shut. A few rounds of tape immobilized his arms.

"Now be quiet, white boy. Nothing will happen to you if you stop resisting."

Adrian had no realistic alternative, and allowed them to tape his mouth. He could see Manga trying to get up, making noise through his own gag, but Ato had one hand firmly on his collar, keeping him down.

"Shh, mon gars."

He pulled the blindfold off of his purchase and grinned again.

"Looks like the situation has changed."

Whelp, I guess I can throw my theory out the window

Though this still sounds interesting now that 3 of Manga's friends know about his secrets. I bet they'll have some fun. But oh boy, did Adrian show up at the wrong time. I guess "white boy" is going to be joining his friend and finding out what it's like to be the one tied. Perhaps if this these 3 don't go to far, maybe Adrian will find out he can enjoy being tied on occasions!!
