That's so nice to hear! It was something I really enjoy about writing several stories in the same 'verse. Lance is a "no strings attached" type of guy at first but grows to see Richard as a partner proper - even though they're not what most would call a conventional couple.

I reckon they're both quite surprised to be where they are. They tease and exasperate one another in more or less equal measure and, equally, get something vital out of that dynamic. I think that, despite outward appearances, they're oddly solid as a pair, quite interlocking yin-and-yang, both able to give and take a load of provocative upping-the-ante; if anything, they seem to thrive on that outwardly combative tit-for-tatness.
