I’m surprised tape isn’t the most voted option.
Same! Tape is my absolute favourite to use

In theory, fiction, and other people's photosets, I like a variety: Rope, metal, leather, tape, science-fictional & magical restraints that don't exist in real life...
I practice I mostly use leather cuffs and belts, because they're easy and I'm lazy, with web-strapping being my second choice.

Tape for me but also wrapped in plastic wrap. Tape always looks good as a gag and hides all that stuffing

My lovely pink rope from shein arrived this morning. Gave it to my partner to see only for him to dump it under his desk and show no interest
No tied Friday for me

I don't know why but I never like tape. I don't like the stickiness on my skin. I don't like the sound when you move in it. I'm just weird I guess.

I feel the same way. I only like when it is used with pants or long sleeves. I don't think tape gags stay on except for wrap around ones which I and some women don't like.

My preference is soft material. Tights, scarves soft rope etc. However, I'd probably be open to try other things if it got me bound and gagged!

Sometimes white cotton clothesline, more often Paracord or something similar. A tight knot in Paracord can be almost impossible to untie.

My personal favorite is rope, followed by rope, with rope coming next.

Tape that doesn't leave marks. Cable ties that aren't too tight.

Rope is the best. Tape is great too, and sometimes I like using old tights/pantyhose that I don't wear anymore

I had voted rope the first time I answered this poll. However, since I cannot change my vote, I would like to comment that my favourite binding material these days is nylon webbing straps with ladder-lock plastic buckles (also known as tension lock straps; metal buckle ones, and ratchet types, also exist, but I would not recommend those as they may interfere with safety-quick-release if the straps are over-tightened).
I love these, as they can be attached loosely at first and then easily and quickly tightened by one's captor or oneself to make final adjustments. The plastic buckles have quick-release plastic clips that can be very quickly released if the strap is not over-tightened. Over-tightening is still possible, so standard binding safety practices to ensure proper circulation, etc. is still required.
For safety reasons, I prefer these nowadays to rope cinched tight. I still keep a pair of safety sheers around, and have even tested my sheers on one strap (now garbage) and found that I can more easily cut through the flat strap than through the 1/4' inch and 3/8 inch braided nylon ropes I usually use.
