I think this is one of the first and favourite stories I came across on this site years ago, and I got a ton of catching up to do it seems!

I pretty much voted for everything on the poll, but I love the toxic raunch of Nick's Socks and how his bonds on steven are always so tight and restrictive, then torturing him with the smell.

Synopsis: A nerdy high school senior is expelled from school and subsequently grounded for getting into a verbal spat with a substitute teacher. His mother and stepdad depart on a romantic weekend getaway, leaving him under the charge of his older college-aged stepbrother.

Unfortunately for our grounded teen, the older stepbrother doesn't take too kindly to having his weekend plans unexpectedly upended by babysitting duties. Our babysitter and his jockish college mates decide to entertain themselves by concocting a bone-chilling mock-kidnap hazing of the grounded high school teen, but in doing so, they end up uniting their victim with his secret crush in a most unforeseen way.

I think for Steven and Nick it was great. It’s fits Nicks alpha style for control and protection that Steven fell in love with. I wouldn’t say it was perfect but for them it was really good.

It also helped that this wasn’t just a random first date/one night stand. They had been friends for years and had tons of experience together before becoming an item. Given all the chapters leading to the deflowering, I couldn’t imagine changing a single thing.

Hey guys. Looking at some of the comments, it looks as though some of you are thinking that I'm looking to change the story somehow? I'm not really sure why some of the comments are pointing in this direction or why this poll is being interpreted differently than all of the previous polls we've had, but if the poll's wording is a source of confusion, I apologise for the mixup.

I'm not looking for reassurances about the writing or storyline. This is just an opinion poll. Like all the previous polls before it, I'm just asking you guys what your thoughts are on a specific subject. In this case, I'm polling you guys about one of Nick's decisions. Nick's actions/decisions in-story aren't going to change based on popular opinion. Irrespective of how well or poorly some of his actions are received, Steven's narration of events isn't going to change. Again, I'm not looking for justifications or confirmations about the actual writing or storyline. I apologise if the unclear poll wording led some of you to assume that's what I was looking for.


As for the poll itself, if it helps untangle a few tongues (or in this case, fingers) keep in mind that if I'm polling you guys on a subject, it's 'cause I feel there's a lot of room for differing opinions on said subject. Yes and No responses are both equally valid.
