Chapter 82

Susan's face turned hot and red as a tomato. She started sweating all over her body. Was that embarrassing!

After a few seconds of shock, the mother scolded: "Is my little Susan baby still not dry? I actually thought this phase was behind us!" Susan crossed her legs to cover her mishap, but immediately felt a painful smack on the soles of her bare feet. "Stop it! I want to assess the damage!"

Susan will never know what the mother looked at exactly in the next few seconds because she had closed her eyes in shame. She only wanted two things: dry underpants - and a big hole in the ground to sink into!

But of course the hole didn't appear, and instead of her panties, her mother suddenly had Susan's old pacifier in her hand. Susan pressed her lips together, but a short, violent attack of tickling on her feet later, the pacifier stuck between her lips. "Don't you dare spit out the pacifier!" Susan knew from the tone of voice that she shouldn't contradict!

Ashamed, Susan closed her eyes when she felt a very brief tickling sensation on the soles of her feet. She almost spat out the pacifier. More tickle attacks set in at irregular intervals, but Susan managed to keep the pacifier in her mouth the whole time, while tugging uncontrollably on her handcuffs.

Completely out of breath, Susan allowed her mother to remove her pee-soaked panties and put on dry ones - finally! She immediately wanted to spit out the pacifier, but the mother said in a tone that brooked no argument: "The pacifier stays in until I allow you to spit it out! Come with me!" Susan was untied from the bed, but her hands were immediately chained behind her back. They went into the bathroom and the mother threw the wet panties into the washing machine.

The entire wash cycle, Susan sat in front of the machine, her hands chained together and her pacifier in her mouth. The monotonous circling of the machine over long stretches almost put her to sleep. Only when the machine was finished was she freed, allowed to put on dry clothes and even got a warm meal. Nevertheless, she had learned her lesson: Never tie herself up again when she was all alone!

The next Saturday, Claire and Susan attended the Medieval Festival. Suddenly they were invited to a medieval role-playing game by a costumed man. They enthusiastically agreed and gave the man their shoes and socks. In exchange, Susan got a red wig and Claire a note, which she read quietly and then handed back to the man before Susan could take a look.

As they continued to stroll barefoot across the festival grounds, the now red-haired Susan asked several times about the contents of the note, but received no answer.

After visiting a few more stalls, Claire suddenly stopped, pointed at her friend and yelled out loud, "Here's a witch! The red hair is proof!" Before Susan knew what was happening to her, a couple of burly men yanked her to the ground and tied her hands behind her back with a thin rope.

Susan tested her bonds. Escape is impossible! She saw the grin on Claire's face and relaxed: she didn't seem to be in any danger, so she let herself be dragged away without resistance. Claire and many other people followed her.

When Susan's hands were untied, she was sitting on a wooden board over a large bowl of water. She was still wearing the red wig and a long white linen dress. She was barefoot. Many people stood around them - including Claire, who reported in a tear-filled voice how the witch Susan had poisoned her cows with herbal mixtures. The cows had died and Claire and her mother were starving.

Claire publicly accused Susan of witchcraft and demanded the usual punishment: burning at the stake, to the loud support of the rest of the audience! But the Inquisition wanted further proof of Susan's guilt: they blindfolded Claire and put a thick branch in her hand. The Inquisitor explained that Claire would have to hit a wooden disc for Susan to fall into the water. If she drowned, she would be innocent and her soul would go to heaven. On the other hand, if she emerged from the water, she would be a witch and would be burned at the stake. Claire would have three tries to hit the target.

What happened? (Of course, there is no real danger for the two girls)

A) Susan dives long enough to be presumed innocent. She is freed while Claire is pilloried and pelted with rotten fruit.
B) Susan dives long enough to be presumed innocent. She is freed while Claire steals her purse in revenge. Claire is caught and her hand “cut off” for theft
C) Susan emerges from the water too early, she will be “burned at the stake as a witch”
D) Claire fails to hit the target three times. Her subsequent curse is "blasphemy". Susan is freed, Claire is “crucified”

Chapter 83

Susan sat on the wooden board and dangled her bare feet. They didn't touch the surface of the water and she was sure - or rather hoped that wouldn't change. It all depended on Claire's orienting and hitting skills.

Susan watched as the man who had given her the red wig she was wearing spoke to Claire. Claire listened carefully and nodded a few times. Apparently she was given final instructions for the things that were to follow.

Suddenly the man shouted that right here and now a young witch was being subjected to the "water test". More and more people stopped and gathered in a semicircle. When everyone was gathered, the man repeated the charge against Susan and Claire repeated her testimony with her family's poisoned cows and red hair as proof that Susan really was a witch.

As more and more people booed the alleged witch and demanded her death by fire, a tingling went through Susan's whole body. Whether out of fear or curiosity, she couldn't tell later. It didn't matter, anyway, Claire's testimony wasn't enough for the inquisitor to commit the supposed witch to death by fire! He would put her through the usual "witch or water test" beforehand. His assistant gave Claire a thick branch, asked her to take another look, and blindfolded her.

Susan trembled as her "blind" friend ran toward her, the branch held out like a spear. She couldn't help but think of a knight. Instinctively she held her breath, but then she heard the Inquisitor's voice: "Not hit! Two more tries!" But even these apparently went wrong, at least she was still sitting dry on her plank.

The plank was rotated 90° and Susan was able to get off dry. When she felt the first blades of grass under her bare feet, she saw her friend who was no longer blindfolded, but her hands were being tied with a rope behind her body. Then Claire was led away and Susan and the others followed her. Everything happened so quickly that Susan didn't have time to get her shoes and socks.

Arriving at the destination, the first thing Susan saw was a huge T-cross. Then she saw her friend standing barefoot in front of it, hands still tied behind her back. The Inquisitor exclaimed, "To falsely accuse a faithful member of our community of being a witch can only be punished by the severest of penalties in our code." The crowd, who apparently had seen the scene earlier, chorused, "Crucify her! Crucify her!".

When Claire was led to the cross, the eyes of the two friends met briefly. Relieved, Susan noticed that Claire smiled. She seemed to like the scenario. Then Claire turned her back on Susan and waved her hands tied crosswise. Now it was Susan who smiled.

However, Claire's hands did not stay in this position for long: They were untied and Claire stretched her arms out horizontally, which were immediately fixed at the wrists and elbows with several loops of rope to the horizontal crossbar. Her bare feet stood on a small wooden board attached to the vertical post at a 45° angle. They were tied to the vertical beam with more rope, as were Claire's thighs. All mobile phone cameras were pulled out - of course Susan's too.

What happens to the crucified Claire?

A) The wooden platform beneath her feet collapses, Claire is only held to the cross by the ropes.
B) It suddenly starts to rain. Claire gets wet to the skin.
C) The pressure in Claire's bladder suddenly increases.
D) A show starts at the neighboring booth and everyone runs away, leaving Claire alone on the cross.
E) Claire gets thirsty, the others feed her a liquid of your choice

Chapter 84

Claire's emotions were on a roller coaster. Never before have so many pairs of eyes focused on her when she was tied up. Even back in the woods when she and Susan first met, she had a hard time hiding her embarrassment. But now there were many more people watching her. But somehow she also thought it was really nice.

Even when viewers took photos of her, she was only outraged for a brief moment. Then she blushed bright red with embarrassment - which elicited laughter from the audience - and finally she smiled and even tried to pose as much as her bonds would allow.

Of course, Susan also noticed that her friend had been photographed and, in conversations, made sure that the pictures were properly deleted or used. She then asked Claire if she should ask the performers to untie her. Claire shook her head and leaned back in her bonds - when she suddenly felt moisture on her feet. A glance up was enough to see why: it had started to rain.

The rain picked up quickly and Claire was soaked to the skin. She tugged at her bonds - but the ropes still wouldn't budge. The spectators had all fled into the dry. Claire's clothes were clinging to her body and her hair was dripping water. She started to freeze.

Suddenly Claire felt a pull in her arms and legs. One look down and she realized with a start that her bare feet were dangling in the air. She wouldn't be able to stand it for long! She screamed for help again - and suddenly Susan was standing in front of her. Claire shouted for her to untie her, but the rain drowned out her screams.

But Susan nodded and Claire took a deep breath: "She understood me! She's going to untie me!", she thought. She was relieved to see her friend approaching her. But instead of fiddling with the knots, Susan's nimble fingers darted across the wet skin of Claire's bare soles. "Am I just imagining it - or are wet soles about twice as ticklish as dry ones?" Claire thought - then everything went black.

When she came to, Claire was sitting in a chair with a large glass of lemonade in front of her. She carefully moved her hands and feet - no shackles! Did she just dream it all? When Susan shoved her cell phone towards her, images of Claire hanging on the cross answered that question with a resounding "No!" Claire looked with interest at herself hanging on the cross! She never wanted to forget this day - on the contrary, she asked Susan to send her the photos.

When they both got back to Susan's apartment, there was a large box in the living room. It contained important documents for the mother from her office. When she cleared out the box, she gave the empty box to Susan and Claire to play with. The game was "Post Office". Susan was the post office clerk and Claire was a customer... wasn't she?

Do the two girls use the box in their "post office"?

A) Yes, Claire would like to send the box, but the employee Susan refuses because of the insufficient postage.
B) Yes, Claire is tied up and locked in the box. She has to free herself from it before the package ends up in the postbus.
C) Yes, Claire is tied up and locked in the box. The package is transported to Susan in a wheelbarrow.
D) No, Claire is tied up and transported over Susan's shoulders to the customer.
E) No, Claire is wrapped in a rug, her mouth taped with stamps, and the destination address written on the soles of her bare feet.

Chapter 85

Claire took a deep breath before entering the post office (or Susan's room). She would be tied up again in a few minutes, she knew that much - but only her friend knew the details. Claire only knew the beginning of the scene and she started it now. Gathering up courage, she entered the post office and went to the counter with the empty envelope.

Behind the counter stood Susan, in postal uniform. She greeted Claire like any other customer and took the envelope from her. Suddenly she stopped and the smile disappeared from her face. She held the envelope close to her eyes several times and Claire asked, "Is the letter all right, Madame?" Susan shook her head. "I can't make out the recipient's address. That's the worst handwriting I've seen behind this counter in years! I can't possibly deliver a letter like this, I'm sorry!"

Both of them fell out of character for a moment and started laughing out loud. Because, of course, Claire's handwriting was some of the finest in the area. But Claire suspected that the whole thing was part of Susan's role - even if she still had no idea what exactly her friend was up to.

Claire repeated the address verbally, but Susan waved her hand to silence her. "That makes no sense! For security reasons, according to Section 0815 Clause 2 of the Letter Transport Act, the address must be handwritten and legible in order to avoid forgery! According to Section 0815 Clause 3, I would even be liable to prosecution if I conveyed such a letter!"

Claire fell to her knees and clasped her hands as if in prayer, "But...the letter...contains a...a birthday greeting to...my beloved...dear mother! She unfortunately...cannot be here...and...and will be very sad...sad when..." Claire burst into tears.

"Why hasn't she been in the movies for a long time? She definitely has the talent for it!", thought Susan, not for the first time. But she too stayed in her role, albeit with great difficulty. "Madame, as already said, I would be liable to prosecution if I sent this letter without sufficient postage! But there is another possibility. Lie down on the carpet over there!"

Giggling, Claire obeyed and felt Susan curl her up completely in the rug. Only her head and her feet were sticking out on either side. Then the complete carpet roll was wrapped with a rope, which was knotted. The letter was inside the carpet roll. Claire quickly realized that under no circumstances would the carpet unravel. She began to sweat slightly.

"The package and letter are properly sealed. And as for the postage..." Susan took several stamps (not the self-adhesive ones) and placed them on Claire's lips. She then wrapped Claire's head and mouth in clear tape several times, firstly to stop screams and secondly to firmly but visibly fix the stamps to Claire's lips.

After a quick acoustic test (Claire's screams were only audible as a faint murmur), Susan said, "Very good! Our package is almost ready to ship. There's just one tiny thing left: the address!" With that, she took a permanent black marker and wrote the mother's name and address across Claire's bare soles. This tickled immensely, but Claire's laughter was muffled by the gag. Then she drove the "Claire package" with a wheelbarrow to Susan's mother in the study.

What is Susan's mother doing with the "Claire Package"?

A) She says she didn't order anything, but Susan doesn't want to take the package back either. The tied up Claire just lies somewhere without being noticed.
B) The mother wants the package delivered to another location. The bound Claire is transported back and forth through the apartment.
C) The mother attacks the post bus. Claire is freed, Susan tied up.
D) The package is not sufficiently franked. For each missing stamp, Claire is tickled for one minute.

Well naturally I love the idea of Clare being tickled, but I also want to see her tied up and left alone for hours on end. Gagged and maybe blindfolded. Hear what’s going on in her head. Maybe Susan and her mum tickle her from time to time to irritate her, sneaking in barefoot so she doesn’t know what is going to happen to her.

Chapter 86

Claire tried once again with all her might to escape from her carpet prison - in vain. The ropes wrapped around the carpet didn't give an inch. And the tape over her mouth let out only incomprehensible murmurs. She was helpless.

Susan was showing her the marker she had used to write the address on the soles of her feet - it was black and waterproof. Claire sighed. But the sigh gave way to a surprised yelp as her head and feet suddenly floated free in the air. Susan pushed the hand truck with Claire back and forth across the apartment. Only after what felt like an eternity did she stop and call out loudly: "Hello, Ms. Stephenson, I have a package for you!"

When Susan's mother saw Claire tied up, she burst out laughing, which was met with an angry "hmmmpfm" from Claire's taped mouth. Then the mother said, "I'm sorry, but I certainly didn't order anything naughty like that. You can take it back with you!" Another outraged moan!

But Susan refused to take the package back, and they got into a huge argument. In addition, they seemed to have completely forgotten about the "Claire Package". Even as Claire yelled several times (unintelligible, of course), the argument continued unabated.

At some point, the mother angrily stomped past Claire and said to Susan: "For the last time - I didn't order anything! And certainly not such a wimp!" With these words, she ran her nimble fingers over the soles of Claire's feet until she was about to faint again.

Finally, the mother said: "The discussion made me pretty hungry! There's a restaurant around the corner - maybe our differences can be settled over a meal - of course at your expense!" "We'll see about that - but I'm really hungry! Let's go!" The two left Claire tied up.

What happened?

A) Susan and her mother loosen Claire's bonds a bit. When they return from dinner, they are overpowered and tied up by Claire.
B) Susan has to take the package back with her - and simply throws it in the garbage can downstairs.
C) The mother not only has to pay for the package, but also for the food - she takes her anger out on Claire.
D) A card game between Mom and Susan decides the fate of the tied up Claire package

Chapter 87

Susan and her mother high-fived - they actually managed to overpower and tie up Claire! "This needs to be celebrated! Shall we have a really nice meal?" "I'd love to! I know a really nice restaurant - I went there recently with my daughter Claire. However, it's an hour's drive away by train!"

Claire moaned loudly into her gag: from the distance she deduced that only one restaurant could be meant - with many Michelin stars, tiny portions and huge prices!

But bound as she was, she could only watch helplessly as her mother took Claire's piggy bank and they both left the apartment. First, she tugged at her bonds - but the carpet didn't let up. She then moved the rug left and right to loosen the restraints - to no avail. She started sweating - both from the heat and from fear of imminent financial ruin.

Family Stephenson had meanwhile reached the train station - but just missed their train. They had to wait for the next one and the hunger grew stronger and stronger.

Now Claire took a deep breath. She tried to get narrow enough to wriggle out of her carpet prison - again unsuccessfully. She was running out of time. She screamed for help - but the stamp gag proved amazingly effective!

The Stephensons just got off the train and entered the restaurant. The waiter took their order.

Meanwhile, Claire changed her tactics - after what felt like hours of back and forth, she lay there calmly this time - and took a deep breath. It worked: she was able to push herself forward a few centimeters in her carpet. If she were to repeat this action a few more times... Since she had to catch her breath again and again in between, it felt like an eternity before the carpet finally fell off her. She immediately ran to the subway. Hopefully it wasn't too late.

Will Claire lose all her savings?

A) Yes, the amount is just enough.
B) Yes, but the amount is not enough. Susan and Carol are sentenced to wash dishes.
C) No, the mother does not pay with the piggy bank, but with her own credit card.
D) No, Claire arrives at the restaurant in time and takes her piggy bank. Since Mom's credit card doesn't have enough money for it, all three have to wash up the dishes.

Chapter 88

After the mother paid the bill, Susan and her mother left the restaurant. Since the weather was nice, they decided to walk home. They had just disappeared around the corner when Claire, sweating with haste and fear, stormed up the subway stairs a few yards from the restaurant. A look through the restaurant window was enough to know that both had already left the restaurant.

And another look at the menu hanging on the wall confirmed her idea of the prices. And she'd seen both Susan's and Mom's wallets on the table at home (she didn't know that Mom had put her credit card in her purse). That could only mean one of two things: either the restaurant had accepted her piggy bank as a down payment, but forfeited all her savings for the next few years—or she would have to wash plates and glasses until she was old and gray, as soon as she entered the restaurant. But she just had to be sure, and entered the restaurant with shaky legs. She looked around - no sign of Susan and her mother! Claire cautiously asked for the two, expecting to be dragged into the kitchen at any moment to pay off the debts of the two by washing thousands of plates! When she found out that the debt had already been paid off by credit card, she vacillated between relief and anger!

Because of the nice weather, Susan and her mother decided to walk home. Claire, on the other hand, took the subway, seething after being laughed at by the waiters for her unfounded fear for her savings. With the subway, she was home before the other two and was able to prepare her revenge plan.

When the front door is unlocked, Claire hides nearby. Before either of them even realize what is happening, Claire covers Susans mouth with one hand while holding a dull knife to her throat with the other hand. To her shocked mother, she said: "You two thought it up - just get out and let me pay the bill! Do you two actually know how many plates I had to wash up for it? I'm already growing webbed between my fingers! That's what I expected! But you pay me back - every penny! And now hands up and move!"

Ms. Stephenson led the way into the basement with her hands raised, Susan following with Claire`s hand still over her mouth. In the basement they both have to sit down on two vertical support beams, opposite each other, facing each other. Both suspected Claire`s next step, and a little later their hands were indeed tied with ropes behind the back, and behind the support beams. Both lost shoes and socks and Susan`s and Ms. Stephensons bare feet were tied parallel to each other, as well as her thighs.

To the great surprise of the two prisoners, the rest happened differently - Susan was blindfolded, her mother's mouth taped shut instead. Claire then explained, "Since you probably won't be able to repay me financially for the many horrible minutes I spent watching myself wash dishes until the end of my life, I have devised another repayment plan for you. Ms. Stephenson, I'll show you Arithmetic problems, the solution of which is always a whole number from 1 to 5. Since you are gagged, you will show me the solution with the fingers of your tied hands. If the solution is correct, the soles of your feet will be tickled for exactly as many minutes as the correct solution is, but if the answer is wrong, Susan's feet will be tickled for twice as long! If I catch either of you cheating, you'll both be tied up in that basement all night!"

Susan realized: Since her mother was gagged, she had no chance to tell her the solution - and thus Susan had no chance to know exactly when and for how long her bare soles would be subjected to the tickle torture. What a diabolical, but - as Susan had to admit - brilliant plan!

A) The mother answers most questions correctly, which is why she is often tickled herself.
B) The mother answers most questions wrong, so Susan is often - and long- tickled.
C) The mother answers about half of the questions correctly, so Susan is tickled twice as long in total like herself.
D) Susan is caught cheating, so both of them, still tied up, are locked up overnight - with no chance to break free.

Chapter 89

Susan was relatively confident: If only whole numbers from one to five came into question as a solution, the problems couldn't be that difficult! With a sure feeling of imminent liberation, she enjoyed the scenario and waited for the first math problem.

After all, no multi-digit or even decimal numbers came into question, but only five different possibilities! But instead of the expected loud laughter from her mother, she suddenly felt Claire's nimble fingers darting over the soles of her own feet. Apparently the answer was wrong! She wriggled in the bonds and laughed into the gag! After what felt like an eternity, the tickling finally stopped and she heard her mother being given the next task. This time Susan heard her mother's muffled laughter - apparently the right answer and a - literally - "breathing space" for Susan!

After a while, Susan had completely lost count of who had been tickled and for how long - the ropes cut into her wrists and ankles without yielding, sweat poured from every pore and she gasped greedily for air! Judging by the sounds of breathing, the mother felt the same - although Susan was sure she herself had been tickled at least a hundred times as long! Either her mother was playing dumb on purpose so the soles of Susan's feet would get it all - or she was just bad at math. Either way - Susan couldn't change it!

Eventually the tickling stopped and Susan gasped several times. All she heard was two steady breathing sounds - apparently Claire and mother had fallen asleep! After a last unsuccessful attempt to free herself, Susan also dozed off, still tied to the support beam. But at some point she suddenly jumped up! It was pitch dark outside.

What's the matter with the still tied Susan?

A) She has to go to the toilet.
B) A mosquito buzzes around her head.
C) Water drips from the ceiling onto her head.
D) The full moon blinds her.
E) Claire sleepwalks.
F) The church bells suddenly jingled non-stop.
