sockgaggedsissy wrote: 2 weeks ago I’m actually hugely surprised to see no one mention Small Soldiers. Absolutely phenomenal scene with a young Kirsten Dunst bound and gagged by a group of sentient Barbie dolls, stuff gagged with a sock, then later with duct tape. Lots of struggling, screaming, gag talk, and cutesy dialogue. It was a lighthearted kid-friendly movie yet somehow managed to pull off what is still to this day one of the most exciting bondage scenes I’ve ever seen, not to mention how long the scene goes on for. There’s also two other bondage scenes in the movie, one of a truck driver bound and gagged with duct tape wrapped around his head and his hands cocooned to his steering wheel, and one of a boy tied and cleavegagged in a closet in pajamas, whining through his gag helplessly as his older sister (Dunst) errantly tosses her coat over his face and closes the closet door, completely oblivious. As a young boy I dreamed of being in a similar situation. It’s an absolute treasure of a movie, and it still gets me amped up to this day
Ooh, yeah…Small Soldiers was a gem.

As classic as the Kirsten Dunst scene was, I remember finding the scene with her little brother particularly funny.

The idea of being overpowered by a bunch of miniature action figures had a lot of novelty; and I definitely emulated that scene struggling on the floor & in the closet when I was younger, after viewing it. XD

-1987 TMNT. The episode April Foolish sticks out most clearly in my mind when April is gagged by Shredder and right before she says, “I sure hope that’s clean.” We had it on VHS and I rewound that scene hundreds of times.

-Wishbone, Slobbery Hound. Lisa GG’s struggling and mmmphing into the gag was nearly heart stopping for me as a kid. Whenever that played on tv my heart would start pounding with excitement as I knew that scene was coming up. That’s also a scene we watched in the library at school where I had to act casual when it came up. When I rediscovered that scene online on YouTube in college I was so grateful. With social media I also got to find Lisa GG online and read what she posts and see what she’s up to today knowing she had a small but significant impact on my childhood and the childhood of many boys (and girls) in a way she likely will never know.

-Inspector Gadget, Coo Coo Clock Caper and Greenfinger. Two scenes I recorded as a kid that I circled back to all the time. The mmmphing in Coo Coo Clock and the struggling to remove the gag were seared into my mind. The full body shot of Penny tied to the chair at the end of the scene with the gag on her mouth was probably my favorite single shot.

Charlie’s Angels, Angel Hunt and Magic Fire. My Mom watched Charlie’s Angels often in the mornings and I remember the scene where Tiffany gets kidnapped and we see the first in focus shot of her gagged mouth moving the needle for me when I was little as well as Kate Jackson chair tied and gagged in Magic Fire. I think they stood out because it was powerful women getting tied up. Later in life Marathon Angels is my favorite scene, but I don’t recall seeing that one as a kid.
Wow, that’s more or less my same experience!

Those were the live-action shows I began to notice; but my earliest recollection had been the “That Darn Cat” movie.

But as for the cartoons?

Yup, pretty much each one you said.

I forget about Small Soldiers too often, but I already had an interest in bondage by that point. It is one of the first live action scenes I really remember very well though.

I first noticed cartoons mainly Daphne and April. I had a TMNT Nintendo game and a scene had April tied up. I remember random scenes in TV shows where a robber ties someone up. You briefly see a secretary or store worker tied and gagged as they rob the place. It might even be a woman at home.

I also remember soap scenes. The women are hot and scenes went on for days.

Some 2000's videoclip that showed many people bound and gagged... that left me puzzled as a kid and it is where all started.

I also gotta shout out April O’Neil’s uniqueness among cartoon damsels. Lots of cartoons had muffled screaming from their damsels, but TMNT had actual gag talk where April was trying to verbally communicate through her gag. In April Foolish she says “I’m not her, my name is April!” through the gag. In a couple episodes she’s trying to speak to someone either in front of her or through the turtlecom through the gag, and although I can’t make it out I think the voice actress was given a script and told “say this line through the gag”. So there’s an actual effort at verbalization rather than just muffled screams.

Now that you mention it, I can recall a scene where April gets tied to a chair & gagged in a newsroom alongside her crew; and then Irma finds her later, and starts rapidly asking her questions about how it happened.

April mumbles through her gag something along the lines of: “Irmph, tmk thm gmg nmph!”.

(Irma, take the gag off!) XD

Think one of the first scenes that piqued my interest back in the day consisted of a group of people tied up and gagged together.

Can't remember the exact scene or the context of the said scene but it was either a bank or an office robbery since the hostages were well dressed 🤔

Multiple phases. Mainly films and cartoons.
In the first case, spy movies, with the heroine of the moment captured, a classic of "DID-Sphere."
In the second, Fujico from Lupin the Third, she often also captured by the madman of the moment.

Similar to mine, the singer was woman and the people bound and gagged were well dressed people, although I'm not sure what was the exact context behind why they were captured.

Okay that sounds right up my alley. Remember the name of the video per chance? Asking for a friend obviously!

For me the biggest fantasy earthquake occured as a kid watching old reruns of Get Smart. One episode called 'A Spy For A Spy' featured Maxwell Smart bringing in a beautiful Kaos agent called 'Miss Devorchek' in handcuffs. She's trying to seduce him to let his guard down but there's one brief moment when he's not looking when she pulls a face in frustration regarding her captivity and twists her wrists in her cuffs. Tv gold. The episode is:

At 18:05. Check it out. I still often do

Penelope Pitstop and Penny Gadget of course, but the usual b&w cowboy damsels helped...plus there was THAT scene in "Hart to Hart" where Jennifer was gagged after making noise that was SO hot to my young eyes!

I just rewatched this. Great scene. No on screen tying but I like how he holds the ropes and gags out showing her what is coming. I also like when they discuss it. "I have to tie you up." "What are you going to do after you tie me up?"

There was another scene when she was a tied up maid. No gag but I love tied up maids. I remember random scenes like this on tv.

We watched it in school once, in the library. Maybe at the end of a semester, or I'm getting it mixed up with Raiders of the Lost Ark, which I know for a fact I watched at the end of a semester when work was done in one class. It would've been about 30 years ago, my memory's not what it used to be. Anyway, I remember that scene coming up with Aladdin getting chained and gagged and trying to pay close attention without making it obvious I was and being sure someone would notice my extra interest in the scene. Of course, nobody did. Now I wonder if anyone else also paid more attention to that scene and I just didn't notice.
Oh god, Aladdin is my ultimate bondage scene. I almost feel awkward watching it in public...for fear people will catch my interest .

I often watch that scene and gag myself to mmmph along!

That scene, the scene from Hunchback of Notre Dame…a scene from Pokemon…and one from Talespin…

…had been scenes I had recreated with an OTM gag, when I was growing up.

Fun to emulate those timeless scenes.
