I’m not going to kidnap you so much as persuade you to be tied up.

I’m a class mate if yours and we are walking home together. I’m in the boys’ equivalent of your uniform (wait for it) it is so hot (like today) that I actually take my shoes and socks off together with my blazer and tie, pop them all in my bag and walk home with you barefoot. You still wear your white ankle socks and sensible lace up black shoes.

Well we come y my house first, we’re not quite opposite each other, and I invite you in for cold drinks.

Once inside you take your shoes off, together with your tie and blazer, but keep your socks on. It’s too hot to sit outside so we sit in the lounge and I put TV on. Well what do you know there’s Penny Gadget all tied up and gagged. Well the conversation turns, I don’t know that you have secret desires to be tied up yet, and you don’t want to let on to me too soon, and you accept an escape challenge. For some reason I have several lengths of rope available in a range of convenient sizes.

I tie your hands behind your back, fingers interlocked. Next I tie your elbows together and tie ropes round your chest and arms too. I tie your ankles together, then your knees and finally gag you. I’m not that mean. A clean folded napkin and three pieces of tape. I do blindfold you though and watch as you sit in the corner struggling.

There are several reasons:

1. Bare feet are often being associated with feeling helpless. A few centuries ago, shoes had been a status symbol whereas all the poor people couldn't afford shoes.

2. Many people who are into tie up games also love tickling, and since feet are quite ticklish, it's obvious that some might find it thrilling to add some tickling to the process of tying someone up. Also tickling has to do with using power against someone with less power.

3. Classic foot fetish.

4. Socks are an effective gag when being pressed into your mouth. It's also kind of degrading to be gagged with your own worn socks so your kidnapper uses this method to clearify their power and superiority.

For me its all the things you mentioned but when I tie someone up I always take off their shoes but leave their socks on (I have a sock fetish) but its for when I tie their ankles together their ankles/feet are tied closer together so its a “tighter” tie and also they can’t kick off their shoes to give their ankles some slack for wiggling.

I’d like to try tight and hogtied but what you propose sounds painful. And why is everyone obsessed with taking my shoes and socks off?

When I tie someone up I always take off their shoes but leave their socks on (I have a sock fetish) but its for when I tie their ankles together their ankles/feet are tied closer together so its a “tighter” tie and also they can’t kick off their shoes to give their ankles some slack for wiggling.
