I have only ever been tied up by Friends, and I have only ever been tied up by Females.
I have never actually had the opportunity to tie anyone up, as I have always been on the recieving end of it, the Women I have met have always refused to be tied up therefore I have had to settle with the next best thing being tied up.
My first experience with Bondage other than discovering bondage on the internet was being 15 being and being Handcuffed by a 24 year old House Sitter.
