Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

24 hours of TUG

I have had long weekend sessions but there are some important caveats:

First of all the gag should never be in the mouth to the point where your friend could have a gag reaction. You must be within "lunge" distance. In other words you should be seconds away. Wrapping tape around is fine but leave a quarter to a half inch tab at the end so you can unwrap it quickly if you have to. If you are going to use tape over the mouth you have to be careful about whatever it is that you put in his mouth - if anything at all. Remember, tape can come loose if the bottom gets it wet. You don't want one piece covering the mouth as that is more cosmetic than effective. The use of a ball gag might work quite well but will make him drool. Then again, that might not be a bad idea either - lol!

Leaving him gagged overnight is not really necessary since both of you will be sleeping and if something goes wrong there can be some serious problems. You can leave him blindfolded if you wish but again that can lead to a problem if he has to use the washroom at night. My friend usually has my feet in cuffs with enough room to walk and my wrists are in leather cuffs sometimes tied to a collar. He leaves the seat open and if I have to take a leak I can do so. Sometimes I don't have the cuffs on. That is also something you have to discuss with your friend before you do anything.

Secondly there is nothing wrong with 24 hours but you should change positions as needed. The rule is that the more intensive the position the shorter the time. Usually two hours max for some of the more intensive positions. I have been kept in a hogtie for 12 or more hours but the intensity varies from strict to almost totally relaxed. Then again I am used to doing this. You can change positions without totally untying your friend but since it sounds like he is a willing "victim" that should not be a problem.

Never, ever use thin line. If you want to do it right go to Home Depot or Menards (if you're in the midwest) and get rope that is at least 6 mm thick (around 1/4"). Get braided nylon or some of the braided color rope. Do not get twisted rope. I usually work with 25' lengths and double the rope. Thin line (and I am referring to a certain website I looked at on GeoCities by a member here) is trouble waiting to happen. First of all if you hogtie someone with thin line they will automatically pull on that line and make it even tighter. The results may be severe abrasions on the wrists and ankles and knots that get so tight you will not be able to undo them without a knife. Speaking of a knife, EMT scissors are not all that expensive and can come in handy if you have to rescue your friend in a hurry. So what if you cut the rope - you can always get more. Also with synthetic rope you should burn the rope ends after you cut them so that they will not fray all over the place. You can use the burner on your stove or a lighter.

You should check on your friend on a regular basis unless you plan on babysitting him for 24 hours. Usually my friend will either look on at me or let me know he is there (I am blindfolded most of the time) every 15 minutes or so. AT night he is a light sleeper so if there is a problem he can take care of it for me. The best safety signal believe it or not is deciding on a song to have him hum. Grunts can mean little or nothing at times and if he is gagged can be confused with gag grunts or "I need help now". Head motions also work - moving the head side to side means that he has a problem. Moving the head up and down might mean that he has to take a leak. In that case we now have a hospital urinal but you can use any water bottle unless you wish to untie him and re-tie him. It's up to the two of you.

Be sure you ungag him and give him water or fruit juice from time to time. That is very important. If you're really going to do this I would also suggest your friend have a light meal beforehand - perhaps also liquid like soup or something for obvious reasons - lol!

Have fun and let us all know how things work out. Just play safe and sane.

Hogtied position

One additional note. I agree with the comment about the hogtie but that applies if the bottom lays down or is forced to do so. This problem is something that Jay Wiseman goes ape over in his book on Erotic Bondage yet he finds it acceptable to tie a rope around the bottom's neck so he won't move. Go figure. When I am hogtied for a period of time I am on my side which seems to remove the chance of any potential problems as far as breathing goes. Moreover, this problem is something that a good bottom will recognise and hopefully have enough sense to let the top know that there is a problem. Again, lunge distance is the best distance if there is a remote chance of any danger. Otherwise check on your friend and do make sure that the ropes are not getting loose!
