I've always preferred the look and feel (on the receiving end) of tape gags, especially when wrapped around several times instead of just one or more strips. Mouth stuffing can be achieved with either cleave or tape gags, and there is significantly less drool with wrap around tape gags.
I wonder if those of us who prefer tape gags over cleave gags also prefer, when it comes to the heavier-duty stuff, panel or muzzle-type gags over ball gags? I know I do!

Yea I prefer tape gags and also prefer muzzle gags over ball gags heheh, a normal ball gag with just one strap i can push out unless it's strapped uncomfortably tight.
