Website Migration Update
I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.
Rope marks in public
Rope marks in public
I was tied up for the first time in a little while a few days ago. Very nice and I had some beautiful rope marks on my arms after the session (actually quite impressive since I was wearing a thick rainjacket while tied up). I still had the rope marks when I went into town afterward, so naturally I wore a jacket.
But ... since it was too hot on the tram I had to take off the jacket. First I thought: what if someone sees the rope marks? What if someone I know gets on at the next stop and sees it? And my next thought was "I hope someone I know do see it. If they know what it is, then maybe ...". I got quite excited by that, but unfortunately, nobody noticed the marks.
Do you hide your rope marks? And has someone had the same line of thoughts as I?

Ha!
Glad to see I’m not the only one who looks for hints when in public spaces.
I actually don’t have much issue with rope marks in general; I often do a lot of heavy lifting, which results in a multitude of red marks around my forearms (bracing such things against them, and so forth).
If a keen eye were to guess, however, I’d be forthcoming.

I've had similar thoughts myself, but would never have dared approached someone on whom I suspected I saw rope marks, and would have dreaded anyone coming up to me an confronting me about mine, hence why I would go out of my way to hide them if I had any (long sleeved shirts, and long pants). Not that it happened often, but the few times it did, I hoped I hide them well!

I'm pretty sure I saw a girl on the train with cuff marks on her wrists last weekend. Of course she may have been arrested that morning but my money is on that she woke up in someone's bedroom wearing handcuffs. It was a Sunday morning.
True as that might be, the issue was not about *hiding* rope marks.CathD wrote: 8 months ago Just wear long-sleeve to hide. Ice or some medical creams can help remove marks like they do for insect bites or climbing.
Or don't move your wrists too much when tied.
Or use softer ropes or non-ropes.

I try to be subtler when I can, but sometimes it's just impractical to hide them. The likelihood of someone noticing, figuring it out and saying something is incredibly, incredibly low.
I always tries to hide my rope marks. Think it might be very embarrassing if someone sees the marks and begin asking me about them. Have tried to have marks in my face after a tight sockgag, and it felt like everybody was starring at me
I remember one time in grammar school I had a female teacher who had what I was sure had to be ropemarks around her ankles showing through her sheer pantyhose. Nice, even and very clear marks going around her ankles. It was very surprising to me that she didn't try to hide them better, and I found it very revealing. Very exciting to see though and fun to imagine and see where the ropes had been. And it gave me many theories about what could have happened to her, and an understanding that there also were others who liked tying up.

Perhaps another teacher at the school was her play partner, and the not so well hidden rope marks behind sheer pantyhose was deliberate ...scandi wrote: 7 months ago I remember one time in grammar school I had a female teacher who had what I was sure had to be ropemarks around her ankles showing through her sheer pantyhose.
