Hot chapter! Seems like there's no escape for poor Sammy. One torture ends, and another begins. It makes me realize how amazing your writing is because, if I'm not mistaken, this is the third time Sammy has been forced to sniff socks and shoes (not counting when he was stuffed in Brody's bag). This shows how you can really immerse us in the story; we don't even notice that Sammy has only suffered a bit so far .

I'm glad Sammy got rid of the plug gag, but I'm almost sure something much stinkier is coming his way. The scene with Matt and Chad was incredible!

Don't hesitate to use the CHAPTER INDEX if you need your memories jogged, guys. I've kept it up to date, allowing you and everyone else easy access to all 25 chapters that have been featured so far. Sammy's plights seem unending, but that's in large part due to the story's lengthy production time and the narrator's verbose writing.

To put things into perspective, only an hour has passed since Mark's first meeting with Andrew. That was ten chapters ago! Sammy has been fully strapped down to the gurney for barely a half-hour at this point. The narration is snail-paced, making everything seem longer than it really is. The "unending torture" perspective changes rather significantly if the story is read in one sitting.

An incredibly difficult choice.

I am already finding the instinctual leadership of Chad very endearing, along with the silent sweet brutality of Hunter. Matt has a certain appeal with his charming lethality, but despite my love for Brody's reek; I just don't mesh well with his brutish personality.

In Apartment 2, Ryan was charming but Blake wasn't my cup of tea; I do find Corey unbelievably attractive though.

In 3; I am always going to be drawn to Shawn as we have been paired together many a time by you and myself; Chris has a charming straight man allure, Big Mike is such a sweety and I love that from him, and Joey is suave and hot...

And finally, Apartment 4; I think Kyle is so hot, but his distant, cold nature is not my cup of tea. I don't like Phil, I find him annoying and bratty; Joshua I enjoy as a person, less so as a dom; and Andrew I feel the same, but maybe a bit more as a dom.

With that in mind, I feel like the unpredictability of Apartment 1 has a solid edge that I am leaning on.

@socjuc Some things are best left to the imagination, my overly nerdy and very analytical friend Nah, but more seriously, it's not exactly an oversight. I've been asked by @Footsub123 and a few others why we haven't seen Mark yet. I've admittedly been a bit divided on the idea, but have, for the time being, decided to keep him unillustrated.

My two main reasons are as follows, and this is not to insult or diminish anyone; Thanks to growing up with social media and TikTok-style platforms, GenZ readers have generally shown shorter attention spans than Millennial or GenX readers. Many of them read much faster than we do, and their absorption rate is lesser, leading to a lessened comprehension and a lessened understanding of the material that was just read. Yes, it's an over-generalisation, but countless studies have shown this to be true. GenAlpha is unsurprisingly said to be even worse as far as attention span and reading go. That's sorta why I've been encouraging slower reading and adherence to line spacing and punctuation in more recent years.

This may sound stupid, but with more and more GenZ readers flocking to the forum, I've decided to tweak some of my more recent tales. Basically; shorter chapters and added focus on fewer characters. While important to the storyline, I've decided to keep Mark as a sort of passive narrator. He's there, but he's not the main focus. His four buddies is where most of the focus should be at.

Depending on where this tale goes (I've already extended it well beyond its original scope due to popular demand) and whether or not we get sequel(s) like we did for Easy Prey, Mark may get more spotlight as well as a more proper introduction. For now, I merely want him to serve as the eyes and ears of the readers. Hope this makes sense. Either way, the next chapter is coming out in just a few hours!

Gen Z/Millennial cusp here. I have traits of both, if I'm honest. Part of that may be due to my ADHD and waning attention span, but I have basically all of your stories, so there is something to be said about that. I do appreciate your analytical view on how you engage your stories to appeal to the wider demographic, it's fascinating to see.

Going over the comments you dropped as you were reading, it's quite thrilling to see that prior to his involvement in Chapter 15 your appreciation of Andrew was modest a best, and that he's grown a lot in your esteem as a result of his being featured in this narrative.

As for Hunter's relative reservedness, you're right! But my counter-argument may shed some additional light on the matter. Basically, I think it's important to consider who he's being compared to. Chad, Matt and Brody are, by any measurable standard, quite vocal and rambunctious. Even someone a little less loud & rowdy (more average guys like Corey, Chris, Shawn, etc) would appear markedly more reserved when compared to those three. Basically, what I'm saying is that Hunter gives the illusion of being reserved, simply due to his three colleagues being on the extreme end of the spectrum.

It's sort of like Nick with Brad vs Nick with Zack. Reader perceptions of Nick change a lot depending on who he's being contrasted to. With Brad, Nick comes off as the kinder & more playful one. With Zack, the same Nick can come off as being stern. You get what I mean. But yes, while I wouldn't qualify Hunter as being reserved, you're right to point out that he's quieter than his colleagues.

Fantastic chapter! Unfortunately I could see myself doing the same thing in Matt’s position, though for entirely different reason.. Antagonize Chad by tickling his pit in hopes of him wrestling you to pin you into his pit.

You're right with that, in comparison is quieter, but I'm not unobservant to notice that is group rough housing, you have included him in laughing bouts; he has had no issue in kicking off his shoes with his mates; of course it is all by comparison. I may have made claims in earnest haha
