Simple answer - there was no photographer. This was done in solitude and recorded on video. These photos are frames from that.

Certainly never mummified myself before this. I've done similarly restrictive ties in other positions, but it's hard to think of another tie ...

If I remember right, there was lots of clutter around my feet, and I also just didn't like how my feet looked in the picture at the time. If I did this again I probably wouldn't cut them out.

I finally got around to this!! I've been wanting to try a full body rope harness for a while. 30m of rope put to good use.

I had no idea what I was doing but I just kind of made it up as I tied. I think it turned out quite decently. It's comfortable too!

If I remember correctly, I left my bed like that for a week or so, but did eventually end up taking it down. I'll definitely be doing it again though. I did have a tiny bit of mobility because of the way I connected it to the bed and I'm looking to remedy that in future work.
