In the first game, the female part of the couples is chained to a pole and the male part has to find a way to free her within a time limit.

This sounds like a nice story idea, but it seems to be actually real.

Apparently, there is a spa in Russia, where people pay to be tied up and tickled. Not for fetish purposes but actually for relaxation.

Escape Rooms would provide excellent narrative fodder for tying people up.

This is episode is called "Tied and untied". The players are cuffed with their hands behind and need to reach a key to free themselves.

I would say series 2 of UK and US version of the Traitors. In episode 1, the contestants are all tied to poles and have to work themselves free and then do an activity in the water. Some of them are quicker than others, and most need help for their freedom.
