Hi @StringTheorist,
Both @bondagefreak and I (as xManToo) post on DeviantArt. We do try to keep people updated on there.
Website Migration Update
I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Re: Site Upgrade/Fixes Thread
Bear with ups, please, DGirl ,
chadmc90 is working hard to try to migrate the forum to another host,
bondagefreak , being more tech savvy than I, has been fielding the same questions over and over again
Me, Xtc , I'm just the friendly (I hope) customer support guy. Shame I' so useless on the tech ...

Re: THE LITTLE BROTHERS CONTEST (mmmm/mmmm)
Ah, but you must remember that the event is a competition. Participants' contestants must be kept in fine condition.
I've also just re-read the chapter and realised how badly written the first half was. However, it has to stay like that now.

Details delayed
In fairness to all members,
the details of the 2025 flash fiction contest will be delayed
until @chadmc90 manages to move the board to a new host.

As has been said, @WhereAmI, when this tale was originally written, phone coverage in the forest was patchy and unreliable in any case. What a good job I wrote the tales before things improved.

I'm glad you're catching up with this story.
You probably need to read the "Warbands" stories first to meet the characters.

The Pirates have the same attitude to truth as journalists: they never let it get in the way of a good story (or, in thier case, torture).

Re: LONGHOLME ISLAND (mmmm/mmm)
No reservations needed. Just make a lot of noise when you arrive.
Don't forget: the lads from this story will now be in their sixties but I am sure their heirs will oblige you.
There is another tale in the offing and, perhaps, a more up-to-date one but they are not going to be ready soon.

2025 Flash Fiction Contest
The contest WILL take place.
Thanks for all the flash responses.
Further details will be posted before the end of the month.
Looking for a couple more totally incorruptible judges (or, at least, ones that are not too easily bribed!) to join the panel .
Volunteers will be chosen with a view ...
