Another great tape for wrapping is bundling tape. The adhesive isn’t quite as strong as duct tape, so it doesn’t stick as great to hair and skin, but adheres to itself very very well and makes for a fantastic gag when you layer it on wide and tight.

Some tapes are less of a problem than others to remove. 3M Microfoam is a very good tape to wrap around the head. You can use more than one type of tape to get very good results with minimal removal pain. T-Rex Ferociously Strong is the stickiest I've found that won't remove skin from the lips ...

They’re generally talking about breathable athletic style tape and medical tape, I’m more talking like duct tape.

Surprisingly not really. I just hop in the shower after and the water helps loosen the tape.

Going directly over hair does certainly make the gag tighter, but I’ve considered just getting a really short buzz cut just to be able to wrap my head in duct tape and not worry ...

What we do is usually place a strip of gorilla tape over my mouth and then wrap my head in duct tape. The gorilla tape is strongest and holds super well, but it’s the duct tape that molds most tightly around my head.
