I'm convinced at this point it's not really bondage most people are into, but gags, and the bondage is just a means to keep the bound person from removing the gag.

3 or 4 silver bangles on both wrists of a girl is a dead giveaway that she wishes they were really handcuffs. I always put at least 3 'Golf Bangles' on the wrists of my girl to remind her.

I’ve always enjoyed the “narrative” appeal of getting tied & gagged.

Thus, a bunch of male goons fits with the bulk majority of scenarios where I’m likely taken hostage.

Even better if there’s a lady getting kidnapped along side me. : )

Occasionally, I do like the clone / imposter scenarios. : )

It mostly comes up in sci-fi / fantasy stories that I read…shapeshifters, genetic clones, and doppelgängers, etc…

I even have a few ideas rattling around in my head that would make for interesting stories, maybe.

I also gotta shout out April O’Neil’s uniqueness among cartoon damsels. Lots of cartoons had muffled screaming from their damsels, but TMNT had actual gag talk where April was trying to verbally communicate through her gag. In April Foolish she says “I’m not her, my name is April!” through the gag ...
